Mt. Etna

We went up 2000 feet above sea level to visit the volcano Mt. Etna. As we climbed higher the colder it got. When we left Taromina, short sleeved shirts were comfortable by the time we reached the top of Mt. Etna the temperature and dropped to 5 degrees Celsius and the wind was so strong and cold that you couldn't breath. It had just snowed that morning and that just added to the coldness. As we were taking pictures the fog rolled in and with in minutes you couldn't see two feet in front of you. We got back on board the bus and started our trip back down the mountain.

O.K., just so you know, this is the excursion I've been waiting to hear all about! I believe this will entail either a road trip or a very long phone call!
