Kuca Glavic Home

We took a journey by bus to a small village where we went to a farm house that the pople who lived there have farmed for over a hundred years. They make their own olive oil and wine. The Lady or Mum of the house was a sweet Croatian who was 98 years old. A tradition isi that you can't enter the house until you have taken a drink of the home's liqueur (that is 140 proof!) So we each had a shot and it was very strong. We then were allowed to enter where we were serveddelicious red wine and home made bread. Then a green salad, potato salad and sausage links. As we ate, two gentlemen played their guitars and serenaded us with Croatian folk songs. After dessert, an apple tart, we visited with the family and purchased wine and olive oil.
