Today started with us having to have our luggage outside our room doors by 8:30 AM. After leaving it out; we went down for a bit to eat for breakfast. Then to the lobby to wait for the shuttle bus to Civitavichia, the port where the Freedom was moored. Needless to say it was a lot of hurry up and waiting. Once at the port we were able to by pass all the long lines because of our Vacation Club VIP passes. This is one of those times when you are really glad you spent the extra money. Since we were so quick getting on board the staterooms weren't ready so wewent up to the Ido deck for a bite - the famous Carnival Cheeseburgers. By the time we had stuffed ourselves with burgers and fries our room was ready. I spen the next couple of hours making our room into our home for the next 12 days. Everything in it's place and a place for everything. We had supper in the formal dining room. Greg had lamb and I had tilapia. Our waiter picked on Greg for not eating his vegetables and then he brought him a double serving of dessert.
