We weren't sisters by birth, but we knew from the start... fate brought us together to be sisters by heart!
I just returned from a most inspiring, exhilarating, exhausting, informative, fattening and utterly fun weekend with the "bestest" friend in the whole wide world. We literally shopped till we dropped and then refueled with a "libation" and shopped some more. Watched a really great football game although I did watch through the lens of my camera and seemed to only see one player (#4). I did manage to catch this one photo that tells the whole story as to why a doctors visit was required the next morning!
But above all, the curve was set when, all of a sudden she jumps up and says "I will be right back" - she returns with an old VHS tape and two bottles of suds. She said we would definitely need the beer by the end of the video. Was she ever right! We laughed and cried and laughed and cried some more. We reminisced and consoled, voiced our concerns and deepest fears. Somewhere around 3:30 am we decided we might better turn in. Sometimes you wish moments like that would never end. The weekend did end and we both had to return to the hum-drum of work and daily life but it will never be forgotten and will in all probability be duplicated again, and again, and again.
Here is to our "Girls Power Weekends"!

Ooooohhhhh! I'm sitting here with a huge cheesy grin on my face re-reading this post not knowing whether to smile even bigger or cry! Yes, it WAS a great weekend! And, YES it WILL be duplicated again and again and again! Love you!
And one more thing.........it was worth you watching the game thru your lens, because your pictures are one hundred million times better than the ones the field photographer took! Thank you!
